Vertex - Consultant/ Architect!!!

Job Description:

Domain exposure to Global Indirect Tax processes.
Should have Strong Vertex Experience of 8+ years with SAP FICO background.
Worked in 2 Full life cycle implementations, 1 or 2 upgrade projects in Vertex.(not just in integrating SAP and Vertex).
Show experience in requirement gathering, FIT-GAP analysis, Business Blueprints, Process Flow Charts to prepare configuration documents, and configure vertex to meet the requirements.
Extensive experience in configuration of Vertex to determine indirect taxes, adding and removing legal entties to tax regimes, setting up new flows and modifying existing flows.
Work closely with AP & AR team to understand the process/requirement impacting taxes on the input & output invoices.
Write and execute test scripts for functional specifications developed as part of FIT-GAP.

Have a good understanding of the upstream and downstream impact of the vertex configurations in SAP both in process flows and master data.
Participate in tax cutover activities for Mock and production go live.
Should have worked in Vertex O series Version 8 and Above.
Should be Familiar and or have worked with following Tax concepts:

1.EU's - Triangulation, Intra Communities, Plants Abroad, Environmental Tax (Battery Tax, Recycling fee, WEEE, Packaging), Reverse charge.
2.APAC Golden Tax (China Tax), GST (India) & VAT (Australia)
3.NA - Sales & Used Tax, PST, HST
4.Argentina VAT, Perceptions, Excise Tax, Turn over Taxes Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules
5.Vertex RFC connectivity & updates
6.LCR Dixon & Vertex Accelerator Working Knowledge

Should have worked in the following areas in Finance,

1.Accounts Receivable /Accounts Payable /General Ledger
2.Basis of Asset Accounting and Controlling
3.SAP Pricing procedure & Taxation / Account  Assignments.

Exposure to ICS/SOX, FDA industry standards.
